I hadn’t planned on going out tonight. I was going to just play around with my curling iron, lament at the fact that my room is in shambles and I don’t want to clean it because staph (really, that’s just me being lazy), and swoon over North and South for the thousandth time. Luckily, just as I was done curling my hair, my friend Hockey Girl asked if I wanted to go to a local bar to watch the Kings game.
I wouldn’t consider myself a diehard fan, to be honest, I’m not really a diehard fan of any American sport. Give me La Liga Futbol over the NFL any day. But I love LA and I’ll root for our teams when I can. Plus watching hockey is hilarious because of all the fighting. That must be my inner Manny Pacquiao talking.
I definitely wanted to feel cute and maybe a little sexy (gasp!) so I opted for my very ancient Wet Seal top which happens to thankfully still fit. It was fairly warm for February, though it did start to rain once I left the house. My new Minnetonkas must hate me.

I had a nice dinner with my good friend Hockey Girl, though silly me forgot to take pictures of the food for once. I’m not a huge fan of Carino’s food, simply because it’s never been amazing and usually borders on not good. But they’ve got cheap drinks, so I guess it’s a give and take.
I really enjoy going to watch sports with Hockey Girl, she’s so intense in her love for the sport. She yells and screams and accidentally spills drinks. It’s quite the experience, though you should probably leave your children at home when she goes to watch the game. But really why are you taking your kids to the bar?
I felt kinda bad because by my second drink, I was feeling sleepy. Alcohol makes me sleepy, it’s kind of a bummer because I feel like I’ll never experience being drunk because I’ll fall asleep before I get to that stage. I guess that’s a good thing right? Unless I’m driving. Don’t drink and drive!
