Last week was one of those weeks… you know, the one where it feels like you did a lot, but you can’t REALLY remember what it was you did? Or am I the only one that happens to? Anyways, here’s what went down.

On Tuesday? Was it Tuesday? I took my good friend (and fake employee) Hockey Girl to meet my friend Penny the Penguin and eat at my favorite restaurant, BCD Tofu House on Wilshire. Ms. Penguin and I had agreed to see each other after she returned from her trip and it took me a while to find the gas money to get down to Los Angeles. But anyways, I had my usual pork bulgogi and soon tofu soup, Hockey Girl tried the assorted soon tofu soup, and Penny the Penguin had the hot stone bulgogi thingie, which I can’t remember if she liked. It’s new on the menu. I wanted to try it, but after finding a “usual” at a restaurant it’s hard for me to deviate.

So we talked about a whole lot of random. I can never remember what we talk about when I need to. Would ginko biloba help that? Penny P. brought my birthday/Christmas/it didn’t fit her gift which was totally awesome. One was this awesome Cookie Monster sweatshirt from WOOT.com that I forgot to take a picture of, but if you click the WOOT (not this WOOT, the previous WOOT) you’ll see it’s awesomeness. My birthday gift from her WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! I shall let the following picture explain:

We had discussed getting dessert after the delicious meal that we had, but I got the itis. Or food coma, whatever you call it.

I can’t remember what I did on Wednesday, but it was probably a boring day. On Thursday I got awesome possum mail from my sister, Ahtee, and from moo.com

I also finally got my jewelry from AhteesDesigns, made by… Ahtee. She’s my sister and now you know my last name. All her stuff is handmade and customizable… I think.. gee what a great spokesperson I am. But yeah, her infinity bracelets are MUY popular. You should get one and don’t forget to hashtag #ahteesdesigns if you show off your stuff on instagram, it makes her a very happy cow from California. She even put in a surprise for me, a freeeeebie! Because I actually did pay for my bracelets, instead of attempting to use my evil little sister powers on her.

I also made steak and potatoes sometime last week. It was meh. But I just threw it together, so I’m not surprised it turned out MEH.

I also took Hockey Girl to see her grandpa last week and he treated us to In-n-Out. I haven’t had it in a while and it really hit the spot.

Those fries aren’t animal-y. No grilled onions for me.

Well that’s pretty much what happened last week. I’m trying to stay busy so I can keep the sad away, but I don’t know if its working. A blog about my Saturday adventure will be up soon too.
